Strategic Business Consultant

We're seeking a seasoned Senior IT Business Consultant with a strong blend of business acumen and technical knowledge. In this role, you will work directly with multiple clients to identify risks, recommend strategic initiatives, and implement IT solutions that drive business value. Your focus will be on aligning technology strategies with business objectives, building relationships with key stakeholders, and providing insights on budgeting, risk management, and IT strategy. Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple client relationships, identifying gaps in business processes, and recommending appropriate IT solutions. Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and validate technical proposals, without diving into technical complexities. Provide strategic consulting on IT investments, ensuring that technology aligns with business goals and enhances overall operations. Communicate technical solutions in clear business terms to non-technical stakeholders, emphasizing benefits such as improved efficiency, reduced risk, or cost savings. Proactively identify and mitigate potential technical risks within clients' IT environments. Engage in client meetings, both virtually and in person, to discuss and implement technology strategies. Must-Have Skills: 7 years of experience in roles such as Technical Business Analyst, Technical Project Manager, or Technical Sales Professional or similar profession Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple client engagements simultaneously preferably in a MSP Environment Technical acumen to understand IT solutions and engage in discussions about technical proposals without needing to be an expert in every detail. Proven business acumen, with experience discussing P&L, budgeting, and risk management with senior business leaders. Nice-to-Have Skills: Background in ERP implementations or large-scale IT projects that blend technical and business focus.
