Information Technology Business Analyst

Job Title :-Senior IT Technical Business Analyst (Hybrid) Location :- Edmonton Alberta Duration :-6 Months Job Description: Project Name: 3-Year Strategic Roadmaps Scope: Technology and Innovation requires Information Technology (IT) professional resource to provide a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of 3-Year Strategic Roadmaps and associated business cases, that will identify what is required to modernize service delivery. Duties: The deliverables/artefacts to be produced include but are not limited to the following list. Lead and/or participate in consultations and facilitate stakeholder meetings. Create business requirements, opportunity cards, business cases, and other functional or technical specification documents. Assist in identifying new IT services. Schedule, organize, and lead status meetings and other meetings as required. Provide support by bridging communication between vendors, client ministries, and corporate technical and business teams. Escalate unresolved issues/risks, options, and recommendations. Responsible for development of key strategic roadmap documents. Prepare, update, and manage documents defining the business requirements and opportunities. Prepare regular project status reports indicating project deliverables, possible risk/issues, timelines, and anticipated effort. Ensure appropriate project communication occurs to all parties involved during all phases of the project. Identify required user training. Additional responsibilities as required by the Project Manager for a Business Analyst or Lead Technical Analyst role. Support development of project deliverables including requirements gathering and documentation to meet project milestones. Support project management status and financial reports and schedules as required.
