The Opportunity: Senior Android Developer We’re looking for a Senior Android Developer who is passionate about mobile technology and ready to take our apps to the next level. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying new features that enhance our Android applications, making them more powerful and user-friendly. What You Bring Experience : 6 years in professional development, with 4 years specifically in Android development using Android Studio and Java/Kotlin. UI/UX Savvy : A strong grasp of mobile UI/UX design principles. Database Knowledge : Familiarity with mobile databases/ORMs like Realm, SQLite, and Room. Architectural Skills : Proficient in architecture patterns such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVP, and MVC. Multi-Threading Mastery : Skilled in developing multi-threaded applications. Cloud Services and Push Notifications: Experience integrating with Firebase services and knowledge of cloud-based backend services and push notifications. App Store Management: Experience publishing apps to the Google Play Store, including understanding of Google Play policies, ASO (App Store Optimization), and release management. Bonus Points If You Have Cross-platform mobile development experience. Experience with SWIFT Written unit and espresso tests. Knowledge of VOIP, SIP, or other telephony technologies. Experience with Git/GitHub for version control. A love for open-source projects. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA. Experience with design tools like Sketch/Figma.
