Project Manager (Transfer Agency & Fund Distribution) Excellent Day Rate (Inside IR35) Edinburgh (Hybrid, 4 days a week in office) Contract, 6 months Posted Thur 19 Sep 24 CVs ASAP Start date Oct – Nov 24 Meraki Talent’s Fund Management client is actively looking for an interim contract Project Manager (Transfer Agency & Fund Distribution) to work within their team. The team are responsible for the delivery of change initiatives that impact the Fund Distribution and Transfer Agency model across the business, managing projects that support the wider global objectives relating to reg, ops, client and tech across the globe. This role would suit a candidate coming from a Custody, Transfer Agency, or Fund Management house as a Project/Change Manager, who has developed solid hands on experience of delivering projects directly related to Back/Middle Office processes. This is a hands on, Project Manager level appointment (Not Programme Manager) and would suit someone from the afore mentioned sector, who is delivery focused, and wants to be ‘on the tools’. This individual also needs to be happy to work in the Edinburgh Office 4 days per week. Responsibilities of the Project Manager (Transfer Agency & Fund Distribution): - Create & maintain a robust PMO for projects - Develop project plans with measurable goals, drive consensus and communicate plans / results to stakeholders - Ensure project deliverables are executed - Issue regular project updates to key stakeholders - Look for opportunities to improve business processes / technology - Build relationships with stakeholders across the firm to navigate the global business Background of the Project Manager (Transfer Agency & Fund Distribution): - Experience working directly within a Transfer Agency or Transfer Agency oversight capacity is very helpful - Experience working as an end to end Project Manager within a Custody, Back/Middle Office Fund Services/Management or Transfer Agency capacity is essential for this role (Or as a PM within a Fund Management house directly overseeing the delivery of these services) - A solid understanding of back and middle office processes within a fund management house is essential for this role - Happy to work in the Edinburgh office 4 days each week (mandatory) Please note we receive applications from candidates all over the UK.
