Looking for Some Strategies To Promote my Trip planning tool

I Started this brand an year ago, I have hired people to do backlinks but I am not getting results. I checked the backlink reports and tried to understand what went wrong. Used SEMRUSH, only few links are showing as toxic. I want a guidance regarding how to follow up with this.

So what do the people you hired tell you?

I don’t think you’ll find an industry where the google searches AREN’T strongly competitive.

It will take time, and it will take effort. There is no magic “push this and your site is shown to every google user” button. Or rather, there is - it’s called the “index my page” button, and everyone has pushed it - including you.

The follow-up is to keep trying. Make good products or provide good services (whatever your site does, do it well), engage your customer base in the ways available to you (social media, etc), continue to proactively keep an eye on the things linking to you, and make sure they’re not the bad kind of links.

Even if only a few are toxic, it’s still possible that some of the links you got aren’t giving much value, like they could be low-authority or irrelevant to your niche. Maybe focus on quality over quantity—try to get backlinks from more authoritative travel-related websites or blogs.

Another thing I’d suggest is diversifying your strategy. Backlinks alone won’t always get you results. Maybe look into content marketing or partnerships with influencers in the travel space. Creating shareable content, like detailed trip guides or interactive features, could naturally attract more organic links.

Also, make sure your tool is super easy to use and meets the needs of your target audience. Sometimes focusing on user experience can make a big difference too. Keep tweaking and testing—it takes time, but you’ll get there!
